GGG or Gruppo Grotte Giara Modon is where Mauro’s first fell in love with the caves, with them he took his dry caving/repelling course in 1999 and thanks to these friends he got to know the amazing and still mostly unknown caves of his homeland. What GGG represent in terms of cave diving pioneering is as underestimated as extraordinary. The chronicle of the exploration in Fontanazzi all through the ’80 for example is just crazy entertaining and put things in perspective. We are the explorers we are today thanks to guys like this all over the world!
